What does the animated GIF maker do?
Combine still images into one GIF that plays them in a chosen order and at chosen intervals. It is useful for simple before-and-after sequences, product changes, process steps, and short visual instructions.
How to use it

- STEP 3
Create and save
Create the GIF, check playback in the preview, and download it.
Processing rules and limitations
- All frames use one output size. Fit adds padding; Fill can crop image edges.
- Frame durations range from 20 to 10,000 ms and are stored in 10 ms GIF increments.
- GIF supports up to 256 colors per frame, so photos and gradients can show banding.
- Transparent output is not supported; transparent source areas use the chosen background color.
- Existing frames are not extracted from animated GIF or WebP files.
Processed in your browser
Selected images and the generated GIF remain in the current browser tab. File content and names are not sent to a server, external API, or browser storage.
Frequently asked questions
Why do colors differ from the source images?
GIF is limited to 256 colors per frame. Choose 256 colors and a moderate output size for photographs.
Can each frame have a different duration?
Yes. Enter a duration in milliseconds for every image in the frame list.
Can I mix images with different dimensions?
Yes. Fit shows the whole image with padding, while Fill covers the output and may crop edges.
How can I reduce the GIF file size?
Reduce output dimensions, frame count, or color count, and remove frames that do not add useful motion.
