What does the Screenshot Status Bar Remover do?

It estimates the top status-bar boundary in a phone screenshot, lets you correct the crop manually, and exports a new image without that top strip.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Open a screenshot

Choose a supported phone screenshot and wait for the proposed top crop.

  2. 2

    Verify the boundary

Compare the preview and adjust the crop line if automatic detection includes app content or leaves status icons.

  3. 3

    Create and download

Generate the cropped result and save the new image after checking its dimensions.

Processing rules and limitations

  • Heuristic detection

The boundary is estimated from visual changes near the top; it is not device-model recognition.

  • Manual review

Full-screen apps, solid backgrounds, notches, and edited screenshots can make the estimate uncertain.

  • Top crop only

The tool removes a horizontal area from the top and does not automatically hide other private information.

Detection, cropping, and export run in the browser. Images are not uploaded or stored by this site.
